為每個班杜里亞人工作 | Werken voor elke Banduriaan | Bekerja untuk setiap Bandurian | ஒவ்வொரு பண்டுரியனுக்கும் உழைக்கிறோம்
Our Platform | 我們的宣言 | Ons Program | Manifesto Kami | எங்கள் அறிக்கை
We work for freedom, equality and fairness for every Bandurian. We strive to improve the economic condition of the poor, to bring equality to all ethnicities and religions, create gender equality, ensure the protection of the environment, and make our government more democratic.
Economic policy | 經濟政策 | Economisch beleid | Dasar ekonomi | பொருளாதார கொள்கை
- Economic growth must never be achieved at the cost of equality. We strive to include the poor in economic growth by phasing in a policy of democratic socialism, in a reformist rather than revolutionary manner.
- Free enterprise must be protected, but it must also be fair to the workers. Democracy in the workplace should be encouraged. Companies must ensure that wealth generated in Banduria benefits Bandurians. All workers must have the right to organise and unionise.
- We believe that it should be made compulsory for all companies to grant employees a certain minimum percentage stake in their business, which they may hold individually or pool as a union.
- We believe in reducing tax burdens on small and local businesses, and increasing that on larger businesses, especially foreign-owned ones. We support decreasing or abolishing sales taxes on essential goods and services, and increasing taxes on luxuries. We support abolishing income taxes for low wage earners.
- We support the introduction of a guaranteed minimum income. We support increasing minimum wages and equalising service sector minimum wages by not including tipping in the calculations. We seek to legally mandate that the minimum wage must keep pace with inflation.
- The right to decent work should be guaranteed. We believe that the government must strengthen the unemployment system, to find work for those who are able to work but cannot find jobs, while sustaining those who cannot work.
- We believe in equal pay for equal work.
- We believe that development should not be sacrificed for absolute fiscal discipline.
- We support the introduction of a carbon tax on companies, and incentive for citizens and companies following environment-friendly practices. We believe global warming and climate change are great threats to our future generations, and must be curbed as far as possible,
- We support the right to privacy as a fundamental right of all citizens in this data age. We support expanding access to the Internet for the poor, and making government services available to them in their own languages.
- We support free and compulsory education up to 17 years of age, and affordable fees for poor children seeking college education. We support the improvement of the public school and college systems.
- We support publicly-funded universal health care through a single payer health insurance system. All health care except for expensive elective procedures should be free at the point of use.
- All infrastructure of national importance, including electricity, sanitation, water, roads and railways should be nationalised. Foreign companies or governments must be prohibited from holding any stake in airports or seaports.
- We believe in guaranteeing food and essential goods for the poor. The government must institute a coupon system, where coupons are distributed to the poor to buy essential food and other essential goods. These coupons should be accepted at all shops selling these goods, and must be useable only for the said items.
Social policy | 社會政策 | Sociaal beleid | Dasar sosial | சமூக கொள்கை
- We believe that all ethnicities, cultures and religions should be equal, and discrimination on these bases should be punished severely.
- We believe in the protection of Penghuni culture and the Penghuni language. We believe that all Bandurians should be educated about the history and culture of the Penghuni people.
- We believe that homosexuality should be recognised and decriminalised, but that now is not the right time to recognise homosexual marriages. We believe in education about intersex people to prevent stigma and violence against them.
- We stongly support the provision of housing for all poor Bandurians living in cramped or unsafe slums and dwellings in the cities through massive housing development projects, while preserving the identity of each area and culture.
- We believe that abortion should be restricted to cases where the pregnancy is induced without the mother's consent (including rape), when the foetus has a defect severe enough to threaten its life or ability to live in dignity, or when the pregnancy threatens the life of the mother or the foetus. In all cases, the consent of the father should not be required. No abortion should be done after the 20th week of pregnancy.
- Immigration should be maintained at the current rate or reduced. Immigrants must only be naturalised if they have lived in Banduria for at least 20 years, and demonstrate good knowledge of Bandurian culture, government, traditions and customs, and do not have ties with foreign governments. Illegal immigration must be strongly curbed.
- We believe the government must be responsible and accountable to the people. A procedure for recall of any MP (including the Minister-President) must be instituted wherein a certain percentage of the MP's constituents petitioning the government should automatically trigger a recall election. This must also apply to state and municipal legislators.
Foreign policy | 對外政策 | Buitenlands beleid | Dasar luar | வெளியுறவு கொள்கை
- We support membership in ASEAN, and we believe that strong cooperation with regional governments is the best way forward for Banduria. We support involvement in multilateral organisations like the UN.
- We oppose any interventionist foreign policy, and do not support sending Bandurian troops or military aid to any country other than for UN peacekeeping missions, other than when a country threatens Banduria's territorial sovereignty. We do not support having any foreign military bases in Banduria.
- We strongly oppose any close relations with China. We believe that the government of the People's Republic of China and the Chinese Communist Party rule China as an oppressive dictatorship without the consent of the people. We oppose any Chinese government influence in Banduria. We believe that Chinese companies, especially technology, have their place, but must be viewed with caution and suspicion to ensure that they will not carry out spying and illegal activities for the Chinese government. We strongly oppose the territorial claims of China in the South China Sea, and are willing to help protect the nations of the region against its expansionism. We believe that the Chinese Communist Party goes against all the basic principles of socialism in favour of crony capitalism and oppression, and we support its expulsion from all international socialist organisations.
- We support relations with Taiwan, the EU, India, Japan, South Korea and Australia.
- We support having some relations with the US, but favour keeping a distance and avoiding undue American influence, especially of American corporations. We support cooperation with NATO only for combating China.
- We support equal, fair and mutually beneficial relations with the Netherlands.
